Cigar Places Around America

We all love the Tinderbox, but once we get out of Charlotte, it sometimes is a challenge to find a good Cigar Lounge. This is the place to share your experiences on some places you have encountered.

Maybe we should start posting these places by State. That way, if you are traveling, rather than just reading through a ton of postings (we don't have a ton yet, I know) we can go directly to the State we are interested in, and read through that to find some good spots. What do you guys think?

Eric, I second your recommendation for Carona Cigar Company. I went to the Lake Mary location (it is north of town and 1 exit from where I was Staying). They now have 3 locations.

THE SMOKE RING in Webster, TX will be worth stopping by when in the south. Large selection of cigars and comfortable seating for your enjoyment.

Birmingham, AL has great smoke shop called MAGIC CITY CIGAR TABACCO SHOP. It has one of the best smoke rooms I've visted and the humidor is very impressive. Plenty of friendly hospitality to make a stranger feel welcome.

When passing through Denver, CO be sure to stop into the NICKEL CIGAR in Littleton which is located on the west side of town.
Good selection of fine or hard to acquire cigars.

Florio's/Three Little Indians

At the corner of Grand and Mulberry Streets lies "Florios". This is one of the best Italian Restaurants in Little Italy. Florios also is a combination Cigar and Custom Knife Shop located on the second floor. There also is a private smoking area as well. The Ownership and Staff are simply outstanding. Very military and visitor friendly! A must see!

When I go up to NYC next month I will try to check it out. Thanks William.

Oh and just another comment on "The Stogie". No charge to smoke in the lounge!

Check out "The Stogie" in Rockville Centre, New York (Long Island).

These guys just moved into a new location. They have great sponsorship by Gurkha Cigars and just opened up the beautiful "Warrior Lounge". I mean this is high end stuff - and normally you would cough up some serious bucks to be in a lounge like this. Leather furniture, big flat screen televisions, wireless internet. Harry and Chris do a great job here.

For what its worth if you're in Orlando FL, go to Corona Cigars on Sand Lake Rd.
